I'm a filmmaker, photographer, and YouTuber from a small mountain town in Colorado. I've spent the last decade behind the lens creating for brands, building a community of 300,000+ filmmakers, and developing the tools I wish existed when I started.
From a mountain town to 300K filmmakers.
I grew up in a small mountain resort town in Colorado. Art and music were always my thing — I played percussion all through school and started picking up cameras around 15, filming friends skateboarding and mountain biking.
After college, I took a solo trip to Indonesia, bought a camera, and posted my first travel videos to YouTube. They got almost zero views. But then I started making DaVinci Resolve tutorials — something barely anyone was teaching at the time — and everything changed.
One video took off. Then another. I passed YouTube's monetization threshold, hit 100K subscribers, and kept going. Along the way I realized the tools I was building for my own workflow — LUTs, PowerGrades, transitions, sound effects — were exactly what other filmmakers needed too.
So I started sharing them. Now over 10,000 creators use these tools in their projects every day.
