Advanced motion graphics for your videos, in six art-directed styles, built by your AI and timed to your words.
Fenn Motion Studio is the system I use to make the motion graphics in my own videos: one skill for Claude Code or ChatGPT Codex that knows six complete styles, the design rules that keep them from looking like "AI graphics", and the workflow from your transcript to your timeline. Point your AI at your video, pick a style, approve the plan, and the graphics come back as clean 1080p or 4K clips, transparent where they sit over your footage.
Six styles, each with its own art direction
- Kinetic Type: huge type that rises word by word, a hard cut to an accent inversion, a slat wipe back to your footage. Hooks and punchlines.
- Data Story: dark glossy cards that count up as you list things, then call one out with a stamp. Lists, numbers, comparisons.
- Analog Collage: torn paper, tape and red marker, animated on twos. Opinions and "forget all of that" moments.
- Keynote Glass: a bright launch stage with frosted glass tiles and a cursor that clicks. Features, software, sponsor reads.
- Neon Trace: a circuit drawn by light, with a white-hot head, glowing tail and sparks. Tech and showreel moments.
- Map Journey: a real topographic map of your route, as a bird's-eye view or a 3D fly-through that dives into the valley and flies behind the line.
How it works
- Your AI gets the word timings from your transcript and plans a graphic for each line: every graphic lands on the word it illustrates.
- You approve the plan. It builds each beat from the style's starter project, checks stills at every word, and renders it.
- Clips render and export at your timeline's frame rate (23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30 and more), ready for their own track in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or After Effects. With DaVinci Resolve Studio's AI-assistant connection, your AI can place them on a new track for you.
Maps from real data
Give it a start, a finish and the places in between (hikes, rides, drives), or your own GPX file for any trip. The route comes from OpenStreetMap and the terrain from free elevation data, credited on screen. The whole trip is visible from the first frame, and the camera never shakes or copies the trail's wiggles.
What you get
- The fenn-motion-studio skill for Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex and the Claude app
- Six starter projects with sample text and preview videos, 1080p and 4K from the same project
- The Map Journey pipeline for any route (bird's-eye and 3D fly-through)
- 12 copy-paste prompts: setup, one per style, a whole video, a sponsor segment, a vertical short, a tutorial graphics package, and quick changes
- A 6-page Install Guide and a 10-page Prompt Book & Style Guide
Requirements
- Claude Code (a paid Claude plan or a Claude Console account) or Codex (a ChatGPT plan that includes Codex) on your computer
- Node.js 22+ and FFmpeg (free; the setup prompt checks them for you)
- Maps also need Python 3 with numpy and pillow
- The free open-source renderer installs automatically per project
- macOS Windows or Linux. 16:9 projects in 1080p and 4K; your AI can re-lay them out for vertical video
