Stop guessing what your time is worth.
A time tracker that lives inside DaVinci Resolve. It knows which project you have open, tracks your hours on its own, and shows you what every job is actually paying you.
You finish a project, go to send the invoice, and realize you have no idea how many hours you put in. So you guess. And you almost always guess low. Hourly or flat rate, that guess is costing you money on every job.
This fixes it. Hit start, do your work. It handles the rest.
WHAT IT DOES
Tracks every project automatically.
Each Resolve project gets its own timer, rate and history. Jump to another project mid session and it banks the old one and keeps tracking the new one. No buttons to remember.
Knows when you walk away. STUDIO
Step away and it stops itself, crediting time only up to your last action. Come back and it starts again on its own. You can't pad a timesheet and you can't lose billable hours to a forgotten timer. On the Free Edition you stop sessions yourself.
Shows where the time went. STUDIO
A live bar graph breaks your hours down by page. Edit, Color, Fairlight, Deliver and the rest, so you know if grading is eating your margins before you quote the next job. Render time counts too, right where it belongs.
Works how you charge.
Billing is set per project: hourly, or a flat fee. Hourly projects count up your earnings at your rate. Rate changes are honest, too. Every session bills at the rate that was active when you worked it, and your history is never rewritten.
Flat rate? See what the job really pays. STUDIO
Type in what you quoted and your real effective rate updates live while you work. Fee divided by hours, every second. Set your target rate and a burn bar counts down the hours the fee actually buys, then prices the overrun in dollars when a job runs long. The "good deal" that pays $25 an hour has nowhere left to hide.
Stays out of your way. STUDIO
A wide, low window that tucks under your viewer. Timer and money on the left, page graph and session history on the right. One click collapses the whole thing into a tiny floating widget with just your project, the timer and Stop. On flat jobs, the widget shows your live rate too.
Your time can't be lost.
The running session saves to disk every second. Crash, force quit, close the window mid session. Next launch it recovers every tracked second and picks back up on its own.
One click invoice export.
A clean spreadsheet of every session: dates, hours, rates, earnings, notes, with time per page on Studio. Flat projects get their fee, effective rate and overrun too, plus one line that tells you what to quote next time. Ready to drop into an invoice or hand to a client.

CHOOSE YOUR BUNDLE
The tracker shows you what every job really paid. The add-ons help you decide what to charge for the next one, and how to defend it.
1 · The Tracker
Both editions, hourly and flat rate billing, the illustrated manuals, free lifetime updates. The complete tool for knowing exactly what every project costs you in hours and pays you per hour.
2 · The Tracker + Price Like a Pro
Everything in option 1, plus an 18 page playbook that answers the harder question the tracker can't: what should those hours be worth, and how do you get paid that? The tracker shows you when a job drops below your target rate. The playbook is how you set that target with confidence, and raise it.
- The four ways editors get paid, and which one quietly underpays you
- The floor rate math that builds a rate that actually covers your life
- 2026 U.S. rate benchmarks by experience level and deliverable
- The hidden line items most editors give away free: usage rights, whitelisting, exclusivity, raw files, rush fees
- Word for word scripts for when a client says "that's more than we budgeted"
- A one page cheat sheet and rate setting worksheet
3 · The Complete Kit BEST VALUE
Everything in option 2, plus the Rate Calculator: a fill in the blanks spreadsheet that turns the playbook into your actual numbers. Enter what you need to earn and your real billable hours, get your Floor, Target and Reach rates, then build client quotes that check themselves against your floor.
Pair it with the tracker and the loop closes. The tracker shows what the last job really paid you per hour, the calculator prices the next one, and your rates only move in one direction.
One time purchase. Yours forever. No subscription, no nonsense. Just the tool, doing its job, every time you open Resolve.
